Call to Action or "Play Dead"?

Actor Peter Finch starts out saying in the movie "Network", “I don’t have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad.”

After warming up a bit more by citing a list of bad things, he delivers his call to action:

“So, I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window, open it, and stick your head out, and yell, ‘I’m as mad as hell, and I’m not going to take this anymore!'"

or

You can roll over and “play dead” and allow President Trump and his Republican allies who control Congress to self-destruct under the weight of ever increasing, unpopular policies.
